LSIC Town Hall Meeting has been rescheduled for Feb. 1, 2022 at 6:00.
On February 1, 2022 at 6:00, we will have our Town Hall Meeting for the Local School Improvement Council, in the Flatwoods Elementary School cafeteria. We will follow school safety and Covid protocols during the meeting. This is a great opportunity to find out what is going on at the school, and express any concerns you may have. Community members, parents, staff, and families are welcome to attend, as we look at data, goals, and needs for overall school success. We look forward to seeing you, and discussing how to continue to make our school the best place for student growth.

Dear Parents and Community Members: To slow the transmission of COVID, Frametown Elementary will be on remote learning for the remainder of the week. The health and safety of our students and staff are our first priority.

Attention Families and Community Members of Braxton County Schools
Good Morning,
In partnership with the WVDE and Maverick Health, BCS is excited to be offering free Covid testing at Braxton County High School on 12/30/21 from 7:30am-1:30pm. The clinic will be a drive-thru clinic. Students and staff are priority for testing, but family members and community members are also able to test free.
The test is a saliva sample PCR test with an estimated 24-hour turnaround time. Hopefully, the testing will allow an opportunity to identify cases prior to return on 1/3/22.

Free Covid Testing is available over the holidays.
Tomorrow the classes will perform a song they have been working on in music class. You may join on Teams to listen or view the students. The first group includes preschool, kindergarten and first grade, and will take place at eight forty five. The second group is second and third grade, and will take place at nine thirty. The third group is fourth and fifth grade, and will take place at ten fifteen. Parents who signed up should have received an email invite. You may also join by calling 3045537794. Check the school website and Facebook for the conference ID, if you want join by phone. Remember to mute your microphone and turn your camera off during the performance.
